To forgive & to confront
Luke 17:3- 5 tells us to "watch ourselves!" If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive, Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.
Knowing when to forgive and when to confront is critical Jesus taught that forgiveness is to be freely and frequently extended to others, with no strings attached. If our friends are acting up, clearly counter to Gods will, we need to confront them for their own good. It is a Christian's duty to deal straightforwardly with a brother or sister in sin. No matter how many times he sins and repents the #7 isn't the limit. Christ meant that forgiveness should be granted unendingly.
